How do you know if you are being fairly treated?

ok, it has been nearly 7 years since i've filed bancruptcy.
I have heard everything from 7 to 10 to 11 years it takes for it to drop off your record, it seems everyone has different answers.
As well when you get your credit report it lists every single company or thing you filed on, are those individual filings staying on as well? or can they possably fall off and just the bancruptcy stays on?
Would it be prudent to contact one of the reporting agengies after the 7 year period and ask these kinds of questions? or should just let sleeping dogs lay. thanks in advance.

When in a situation like a job interview I tend to get nervous. I know what I want to say but struggle to find the words. This interview is for a job promotion, and I don't want to lessen my chances by coming accross as a bumbling fool

I work in a retail department store. I want to leave the union. My workplace and co-workers are very nice and nobody has problems with non-union workers. I'm worried the union candidates (The union appoints certain employees to hold union authority) might try to do something unfair towards me because I chose to leave. Should I be worried????

I just graduated 1 year. Applied to UBS but failed after doing the numerical test.
I still would like to work in an investment bank, in equities or wealth management. I'm planning to take an Masters course to better my chances. I have a 2nd "A" Bachelors' degree in Arts (BA). May I ask:

1) Does MFin / Msc in Finance / M Financial Engineering require you to be very good at maths? (I'm analytical , but not that numerical)
2) Which of the three would you recommend for a person like me?
3) Which school for MFin / Msc in Finance / M Financial Engineering , is renowned and accepted by the i-banking industry?

thanks a lot.

Normally when we buy a future we set a target to book profits. But, when the market falls we are loath to put a stop loss and we loose a big chunk of money. Last year I made a profit of about fifty thousand dollars playing in future. This year all that proft got wiped off in just three months. Should I stop dabbling in futures?

I just opened a small business in May (yea!) as a sole-proprietorship. I've spent a ton on business related items to get me started. The only thing I've done with taxes is file my sales tax returns...otherwise I am CLUELESS when it comes to taxes, deductions the whole bit. Would you suggest going to an accountant for this first time around or getting a program like tax pro? I'm a resident of NH but temporarily living CA (where I pay my sales tax to)--do the computer programs account for those sort of "weird" circumstances?
