Ok I really need to know something quick.. If I have $100 dollars canadain money than how much EXACTLY would I have in american money?

I'm asking because I was told that after you deposit the money into the ATM, it will say that the money is in your balance, but a teller has to verify it. How often do they do this? And how long does it take to actually be verified?

I was also told two seperate things-that on the deposit envelope you need to fill it out by hand, but someone else told me that the ATM will print the information onto the envelope after you deposit it in.

Sorry if any of this sounds lame. I just opened up a checking account and I'm young. =) Thanks in advance.

at my job all the managers got together and bought a popcorn machine . they thought it would improve moral. we are on lots of manditory overtime and its been 6 months.the employees about 400 peoplethink it is stupid, but it does taste good. we do not get bonuses and i made a joke that this year for christmas we are getting flavored seasonings for the popcorn as a bonus. a company crybaby turned me in. i was told by a manager i was spreading "rumors" and was in trouble. I asked what the rumor was and i was told it was confidential. I found out through the grapevine it was my joke. IS it legal to be accused of something and not told what it is, weather it is major or not?

Employers, you have an employee that has run off at least 10 good employees over the last few years by just being mean and rude to them. She is a horrible gossip too, talking badly about everyone behind their back. She does her job perfectly otherwise. Another problem is that you know she has a history. Her 35 year old son committed suicide 4 years ago, and she's quite bitter about it. She takes this out on all other employees, but she's the perfect angel towards you and is a reliable employee. Ok, you just lost your 11th employee because of her, what do you do about it?

What do you do when your supervisor always is on your
case to do better no matter how hard you are trying,you
never miss work,your never late,you do not abuse sick days.He tells you at reviews your work is unsatisfactory.
He chews you out everyday,if it is not one thing he finds
another thing to chew you out about.You play by the rules.

I was wondering if you can short sell stocks no matter what price they are per share. I know some stocks can't be shorted no matter what BUT I saw online you can't short some stocks if they are under $5 per share but i have a friend that is short selling $2 stocks but I am just getting contradicting information.

TOI reported about a month back that the benefit under section 54 is being overused resulting in a lossof tax revenues to the Govt. It said that now the only way of saving the capital gains arising out of sales from your property is to invest in infrastructure bonds. Is this already a law or just a proposal ?

I'm in the Bay Area Clifornia and I accept that the market is slowing, if not popping. But does that make it a good time to invest in real estate or a bad? FDIC insures a depositer up to $100,000 at member locations which display the foregoing information. But does that only cover the Bank corporation, or does it also extend to it's branches. Example, if I deposit $200,000 in two different branches of Chase Manhattan, am I covered at each location?

I only had 600 in my checking account and was using my card for christmas shopping. I was spending and spending and i ened up spending 8700. I know i went crazy when i realized i had no limit. my bank called me in and had a talk with me told me that they didnt understand why my card had no limit on it. told me to take back what i could and come back and see them. they said that i could have been arrested is that true. its not my fault they didnt give me a limit im irisponsible il give you that but they should have laws to protect people like me :)
