I am in the planning phases of a software development services business. The business will target government contracts with small business set-asides. We will not target the consumer market or small business market.

It is not too late to change the name because the business hasn't actually launched. Other than a domain name, web server, and mail server there won't be much work in changing.

The name is "CoderBrigade". I see both positive and negatives to it. First the positive. It is early in the alphabet. It is easy to remember. I own the domain name. Good domain names are hard to come by. It describes what we do.

The bad points, courtesy of my wife:
1) sounds militant
2) Misleading; a brigade is usually a large organization. We are not.
3) "Coder" is not a respected title, as Software Engineer, etc
4) She doesn't think it sounds professional

If you had the chance to pick a business name from the beginning, would you change what I have or go with it?

I am a regular 22 year old college student. I have a business idea that would take x of millions of dollars to start. How would i go about getting funds/started in the process of building an indoor sport complex? It would consist of basketball courts, a turf soccer field, and other areas for volleyball and other sports. Winter takes up 8 months of the year here, limiting the use of the outdoor arenas. A lot of people get throught the winter by playing sports. There are limited places(that are nice) to go for sports such as soccer, basketball, volleyball...etc. There are 3 recreation centers, a YMCA, and few health clubs that arent even involved with sports. Some high schools rent their gyms out but it is pretty pricy. There is one sports complex that is semi new but poorly ran. They have a turf field and 5 courts for basketball, volleyball, etc., that are made from this weird plastic flooring. I am convinced that if there were another sports complex, that it would be very successful.

My wife and I want to buy a nice house, what is a good guide or some helpful tips to buying your first house? What are some good tips for financing, and finding a place that we both love without being bullied? Any help would be sweet.

What's the best website for getting data on homes that have already been sold? I get the impression that only agents can access the MLS database of sold homes... but what's the next best option for a non-agent?

My fiancee and I both got part time jobs recently. We've barely been there two weeks, and we realized that they were a BIG mistake. How do we quit without feeling really guilty about it? They aren't awful jobs, but there just aren't enough hours in the day!

I know telling the truth is the best option, but what's the easiest way to do it? We both really hate letting people down, even if it's just an employer at a crummy part-time retail job.

I have a business plan and am still building it to perfection As I hope to open a Massage Therapy practice within the coming year, and I need atleast one Investor, or a Partner willing to go in on this Business with me.
I want to open it as a Semi Indoor Outdoor Massage Clinic. With a Greenhouse with a Table set up and plants growing inside, for a Semi Outdoor Massage session incase of rain or Winter season (the client will get the warm cozy effect of being outdoors while relaxing Massage session with the sunlight, while it snows outside, and a Coy Pond with a Bridge over one side to a Platform with a Massage table in the middle, for a open air Outdoor Massage. Of course there will be a Office with a reception area and a waiting area with a Television and Magazine rack on one side and a Display area for the Products and Modalities used in each session.

This is a Well thought out plan all the way down to the money it will take to open and run this BUsiness each month.
