i am now working in a not well-known call center in ortigas but i get paid really low since i am just in a support group and doesn't do call outs. i don't have the guts to apply in big call center companies coz i think they have high standard in hiring people.

Most call centers have low moral and high turn over, especially the "big ones". You might be surprised, a little industry related experience like yours and you might me in demand.

I'm not sure where Ortigas is, but I suggest biting the bullet and just applying with the other company if it is a better place to work. If you feel you do not have the skills for it, look into taking some inexpensive classes at a local school.
It sounds like you are not aware of all you are capable of. You are probably much more awesome than you realize.

Do not worry most if not all people at call centers are over paid. To tell the truth only once were they of any help.

Hi Dear..i m from same industry..use to think like u..but u know what???First of all u need to built confidence in urself that YES!!!I CAN DO IT...and u need to apply for the big callcentre...Take my words they will Shortlist u...And If still unfortunately u r not selected..Plz let me know...All the best...
