Need Help on the process as selling a patent as I have one.

I tried out a gym and gave them my credit card. After thirty days I decided that I didn't like the gym, notified them of my intention to quit by certified mail.
They told me there were no contracts and that I had thirty days to make up my mind when I joined.
Six months later they notified me by mail that I owed them $200 via a third party and that if I didn't pay the amount due they would report me to a credit burea. How do I prevent this from ruining my credit?

If you have only one choice between career and your family , which one you prefer. With this question, I did not mean , if you choose career you must leave your family or other idea ...You still can take care your family later if you choose career .

MY MOM HAS AN UNPAID BILL THAT SHE OWES TO EDISON OF CA. $616.13. I USED MY DEBIT CARD TO PAY MY MOM'S BILL TWICE. NOW I HAVE MY OWE ACCOUNT WITH EDISON. THEY ARE NOW TRYING TO STICK ME WITH MY MOMS BILL. THEY ARE TELLING ME I WAS JOINT ON HER ACCOUNT. BUT WHEN I ASK FOR PROOF THERE IS NONE. SO THEY ONLY THING LINKING ME TO THIS BILL IS THE DEBIT CARD I USED TO PAY THE BILL WITH. I ASKED IF IT WAS LEGAL AND THIS IS WHAT I WAS TOLD.

NOW I WAS NOT LIVING AT MY MOMS HOUSE BUT ALL MY BILLS WHERE BEING SENT TO HER ADDRESS.

I worked almost 11 months out out this year. I just recently lost my job due to them relocating, im now receiveing Unemployment. my question is i chose to have some fed and state come out of my check for unemployment, but they only take out 10 pecent for fed, and i think 2% for my state Which is RI. I am eligible for the child credit. So since i did work most of 06, and since all of fed is not being totally withheld, i know i will have to owe some. So will i also be eligible for a refund, as well as oweing for the weeks on Unemployment?

I received a job offer from a Russian company, CIT Financial Bank, they got my resume from careerbuilder. How can I be sure this isn't a scam? Their website is citfinbank.com. They haven't asked for any suspicious information, yet. I have checked on all the scam sites and they are not listed anywhere. When I search for Russian companies, they are not on that list either. I need some direction. Thanks

I am selling my home by owner because the 30k that I will be saving from NOT using the realtor will go towards my down payment on the other one, which I am buying. Someone is interested in buying my home. However, I do not have the forms to do this. I know there is a title search, inspection, disclosures, appraisal and what else am I missing? My ex girlfriend and I had a joint credit card with myself as the primary. She racked up a huge bill. She filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy last year with this credit card listed as one of the creditors. I have not heard from the collection agency since that time. It is still on my credit report. Can I dispute this even though the credit card bill was legitimate and can they still try to collect from me? I have done many searches on what my rights are but I have not heard much on this specific issue.

An H&R Block agent told us we could sell our home without paying capital gains tax even though we had lived in it for less than two years because we got married in the same year. Well, he was wrong and we're getting stuck with a 25K tax bill. They won't take responsibility for this, and we're considering suing them. Does anyone have any experience with this?
