Why do you want to? If you have a valid reason then ok, but if it's worth staying for then stay! Think, you get paid for it and it is nearly xmas!

Having never heard of "Argos" I don't feel qualified to tell you to "quit' your job. You have provided very little information about the position, your duties and/or any complications surrounding your desire to quit - however, I would offer this - if you want to leave because you are not feeling challenged enough, and you have something else 'up your sleeves, then by all means, leave however, make sure you leave correct...you don't want to burn bridges. Also, I would not share too much information with collegues or friends there. I have seen people fired before they were able to "quit" just because rumor got out. Also, if you are leaving because of the conflicts with co-workers or bosses, I'd try and get that 'fixed' first. Leaving can hurt you if you leave wrong. If you have skills and there are people banging at your door, that's good - however, I'd still be careful in 'how' I left. Good luck...

No because Index has closed down!!! Only quit if you are really miserable, the staff seem rushed off their feet all of the time and the stores do not seem a particularly happy place for workers but that is the view of someone who is only a customer.

Absolutely. People who shop at Argos p.iss me off! They seem to think that their goods materialise out of nowhere and should be ready and waitng for them by the time it's taken them to walk from the till, to the collection point!!

Hang in there until after the holiday season. Think of what you are earning and the options you will have because of that :) Use it as a trial period for the job and come new year you can be sure for yourself - I will stay, or I will leave!

well, it depends. do you have another job lined up? is there a good reason for you to quit? right now, if the answer to either of those is no, then no. if you have another job lined up and the pay is significantly better, then yes. you need to give us more details on your situation for us to help you. good luck!! :)
