Start frequenting garage sales and flea markets. Go with an eye to look for collectible things, or things that are nostalgic to people. Then try and sell it on ebay.

I recommend sropshippers. That's what I use now during the Holiday Season. Even though not all their prices are the best, but in this season many products are in high demand and these dropshippers have them. I sold 17 Sony PSP's last week and 12 Xbox 360's. I used:

Dropshippers are bad. I tried one, and it was a disaster. DO NOT USE A DROPSHIPPER. Check out the boards on ebay, they are a lot of help.

scams, scams, and more scams... they all offer the same stuff hundreds are already trying to sell on ebay without success... the window of EASY opportunity on eBay and the web as a whole is over. do look for garage sale and flea market bargains for side $$$ on ebay but look for something else be it cashier or customer service/data entry. I have been doing ebay for 10 years and I have some experience at this. Here is my current ebay store

Look in the garage, behind the old weightset that nobody uses any more. Look in the closet.
