I had an interview on August 11th and they told me they would call me either way if I got the job or not, and it's been 1 week and a day and nothing yet. It's driving me crazy and I can't call them because I don't even remember the name of the lady who interviewed me. I would look stupid if I called and said I didn't remember her name.

Why do people mail payments for anything when its the least secure way of paying for something.Especially when theres a bank branch or online payment methods;which are way more secure?

I found out 4 days from completion that the property i was to buy had a 2nd charge on im now homeless becasuse of this and feel i should have been told of the situation a lot sooner the property has now gone back on the market but at more expensive price ive paid all my solicitors fees and transfered all my post tv licence and other documents over the the property i was to purchase and i now feel as though i have been let down very badly please can anyone help many thanks mary

Hope someone online can answer this...I have just realised my chequebook is finished but have to make an early payment. In my home country, I could go to a cashpoint and print a few sheets until the new chequebook arrives, but have never done that in Britain. Can this be done here? Do HSBC ATMs offer this service?
I don't want to venture out so early in the morning for nothing...

The General Manager of where I work has a son who also works there. His son is a total jerk to me. He says and does mean things to me, and when I ask him to stop, he cops an attitude and says things like "why, do you really think I could get fired from this place?" It's as if he has a licsense to do whatever he wants, and to make matters worse his dad just looks the other way. Outside of this situation I really like my job, but how do I deal with this jerk?

I HATE my job. Actually, I like the job, but not the environment at work. I feel about as welcome there as a turd in a puchbowl. I have a new baby, and would love to be a stay at home mommy, bit finances restrict this. How much crap should anyone have to stomach for a meager paycheck? Should I stick it out until something else comes along, or do I throw caution to the wind?

i have a real social security number, not stolen and not belonging to someone else. i prefer to be paid under the table, because i'm experiencing financial hardship. i just got hired by a family owned business but has not done all those tax paperwork yet.
should i just tell them that i want to be paid under the table? do you think small companies comply with that request? serious replies please.

I would like to know where I can get a mortgage, I have no credit history, reason I'm a victim of idenity thief and had to file chpt. 7, this was discharged on sept. 6.2005 I have a credit score of only 549, I cannot get anyone to help me not even my relatives cannot co-sign for me, I never ask for help before I've always help my sisters and brothers but now I cannot get help from them, would someone please send me some help. I need to get out of this rental house the utilities are high because the house is no good, please send me a mortgage co. I know that the interest rate will be costly but I can get it refinanced withen 8 mos to a year. somebody I need help I'm all packed and have a contract on this home before it falls in on me, I will appreciate any help that I can get. Other mortgage companies said that they could help but I'm still here. I'm at my witts in and going insane I don't know where else to turn I've ran out of resources. what can I do? I am a college graduate with a humanities degree (what a waste). Anyway, I've heard that there are amazing opportunities in Canada right now in connection to the oil and natural gas industries for both skilled and non-skilled workers. Does anyone know whether it is possible for an American without trade skills to get their foot in the door with one of these Canadian companies and to also get a working visa? In their reasons they say that I have late payments and that my credit score is low. however, i have a service with experian ("the" credit agency they used) and their credit report didn't show that I had a late payments THUS Citi is lying to me

what should i do? I printed the credit report and even called Experian to verify that I don't have a late payment. BUT GET THIS CITI USED EXPERIAN TOO

Why are people so mean when you ask a question about things they have made mistakes with. I don't think people need to get ragged on when they are going through a crisis. They are asking for advice not for someone to tell them how bad they are or how bad they handled there finances. THEY ALREADY KNOW THAT I GUARANTEE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
