Since it's a mgmt position, don't by shy about discussing your good traits and be specific. Don't say generic things like, "I'm good with people." Say people respond well to my direct. I have managed X amount of people previously. During my supervision the turnover rate decreased by x percent, customer satisfaction increased by x percent, which led to an increased profit of x amount. If the interviewer asks you your weakness, don't say something all the interviewers have heard before or something which could hurt your chances of being hired. Say one of your weaknesses is not knowing another language, but your working on correcting this in order to communicate with more of your customers. (Only say the last part if you really are planning to learn a new language.)

Definitely do some research. Mention how you've seen them expanding their company and how they have financing through means other than long term liabilities. Ask questions too, like the new clinics they are putting into some stores.
Managers are in charge of assisting in stocking, inventory, knowing the pharmacy, photo lab and registers. If you want to advance from within, you'll eventually have to pass a pharmacy test. If you have a background in any of these areas or in supervising, that's a major plus.
Walgreens stores often have chances for MGTs to be promoted to EXAs. You're probably applying for an MGT position. They are below an EXA and the EXA is below a store manager. (EXA=executive assistant) EXAs do a program called SWIS, or store within a store. Mention that you've heard of this and wonder if you'll have a chance to gain that experience and what the details of it are. Ask questions like hours worked and how many people you will supervise. Another good skill you might offer is if you have done any modulars or resets of products in the past because you'll do a lot of those.
Most of all, make sure you have a resume handy and have a 30 second speech about yourself to answer when they say "tell me about yourself." Also, bring references with you. Have it typed and ready to hand to whoever interviews you.

1. Research the snot out of the company. Go online, research research research. Know it in and out. And don't be afraid to answer questions about it. Do not be shy with your new knowledge of their company.
2. Ask good, heartfelt, yet badass questions. Set the room on fire with your questions. Make them cry over the questions you ask. You will know what questions to ask from all the research you have done.
3. shake hands strong.
4. Laugh
5. Relax.
You will be fine
