A regular job. What would make jobs on the whole better? Shorter hours?

the work week should be 3 days a week for 8 hours.. or 4 hours a day for 4 or 5 days. people would be happier. life isn't work. why make a lot of money when you can't spend it?

Yes. What would make your job better? There's not one single answer. I don't think shorter hours would help, or be universal. Probably for mothers, it would mean more time with their babies, so yes, that would be a plus. But for some others, no. If they're guetting paid by the hour, it would mean less income.
I think that some of the things that would make job enjoyable are:
-sense of accomplishment
-sense of doing things right
-recognition from your bosses and peers
-fair treatment
-good salary

I MANAGE TWO SEASONAL JOBS THAT PAY GREAT. I WORK 11-12 HOUR DAYS FOR ABOUT 6 MONTHS AND WORK LIKE A DOG! I WORK NEARLY EVERY DAY OF THE SEASON WITH FEW DAYS OFF, THE MORE HOURS THE BETTER THE PAYCHECK.THE GREAT THING IS THAT I HAVE THE REST OF THE YEAR OFF TO VISIT MY FAMILY WHICH IS FAR AWAY AND DO WHATEVER I WANT ALL SUMMER! EVEN GET A SUMMER JOB IF I WANT. IT WORKS FOR ME BECAUSE I CHOSE JOBS I AM GOOD AT AND REALLY ENJOY. IF YOU HATE YOUR JOB START LOOKING FOR BETTER WORK.

First doing somethign you love
if you dont have that luxury... you gotta make your job fun...
I had so much fun working in a cafateria washing dishes (one of my many college jobs)... because I worked with a bunch of indian people, and learned some indian songs...
We banged away the pots into rythems and stuff while we worked...
Ha tjhat turned probably the worst job you can think of into a lot of fun!..
Be creative... life is short!

growing up and realizing that you can't have everything given to you, unless you are a gold digger with an at least moderately good looking face and body. its work, you do it you egt paid and dont get fired. if you do a good job you get a raise oir a promotion and you have more money.
without people doing the jobs, our society, or any civilization for that matter, couldnt exist.

Like other answers suggested, you have to love your job.
What do you like to do most, other than checking ladies out ?
Be an engineer, be an architect, their jobs can be very challenging.
If you like helping people, be a social worker, police, firefighter and many other things.
Ask yourself what do you like to do that you enjoy doing it everyday ?

Unless you work you will have no appreciation for the little that you have.
Your honor is supported by what you have either done or not done.
If you would not work, then you are not worthy of the bread that would sustain your life.

better pay, free packets of salt, allowable sexual harassment, and of course a free set of pajamas every 3rd of the month
