I'm doing everything by the book on saving for retirement and emergencies and have it going on. The only thing I'm always unsure about is when and how I should be rebalancing during market changes. I have a pretty good process for picking good mutual funds just using internet tools, but never know when it's time to move from one fund to another, and also if i'm too heavily invested in one type or another. Is there any advisors online who charge like a one time fee for evaluating this a few times a year? I checked with local financial advisors and they seem to deal with clients having over 2mil in assets! I'm not quite there yet :) Fidelity told me since i'm a "platinum" level customer of theirs they'd give me free advice but they can't ever tell you exactly what to do because of laws and regulations.

iam on the management team at my job.
i work as hard if not harder than most other employees.
i have moved up the ladder and proven myself.
i run a resturant. friday my general manager who always brags on my ability to run a great shift, said that at times i can be overbearing!!!
i was just trying to make sure that everyone stays busy.cleans, stocks ,etc.
she is over me, but lets people stand around all the time.
the other managers let alot slide.
iam nice. i stand and talk too, but after all is done & clean.
she really bugged me with that comment.
later she said:well i know you are just doing your job.
but i keep hearing her words.
two of the other managers stay on the telephone to friends etc even when we are busy like out the door!!!
it makes me so upset.
i give 110%.
any advice????

My mother recently moved. She gave a 30 days notice to the landlord of the place that she moved from. Her lease does not expire until December but the Landlord, was OK with it and signed a lease with another tenant, to move in when my mother vacated. The new tenant got drunk and showed his butt around the neighborhood so the landlord cancelled the lease with the new tenant and is refusing to refund my mothers deposit because of this. Doesnt this new lease void my mothers lease? Does anyone know where I can find these laws??

I just got my first job at a drugstore. I've worked there 3 days. It is absolutely the worst thing I've ever done. The assistant manager hates me and makes it well known and criticizes everything about me. I haven't done anything to her or made big mistakes or anything. She just hates me. But she's nice to everyone else. So my question is, can I quit after only working 3 days? I'm not even done with training yet. I don't even care about being paid, I just never want to set foot in there again. All I do when I get home is break down.

Which job would require an early morning start (4/5am) and finish by lunchtime (1pm) and necessitate use of a 4x4 pickup? Living in central Edinburgh, i'm sure the possibilities are very limited.
