I am limited by my company from adding contributions to my 401(k). I would like to put more in to something similar--is there something comparable that I can use? I use my regular investment account but would like something with tax incentives.

should I just invest in one stock?
I want to start investing in stock, but I don't know much about it. I bought a book. I'm trying to study it right now. Most of the information seem vague. It can't give me a definitive answer of what is good or bad.

What if I did this. I got $5,000 to invest. I got more money saved up of course.

I pick one of the highly rated stock like this one http://moneycentral.msn.com/detail/stock...

or a find another stock where the price is stable and generates a dividend.

And I put all $5,000 in that one stock and keep it simple. Is that a good ideal?

I keep hearing that I should diversify.

And mutual funds seem more complicated and they charge various fees.

So is it a good ideal to just invest in one stock in which I may have researched and found dependable?

When I go into work I sometimes look around the store for a few minutes or need to buy something. I am not wearing my name badge but of course I have to have my uniform on when I walk in the door (we can't change when we get there) and people start coming up to me asking where things are and I really don't know where half the stuff is in the store as I work in a department in the front of the store doing orders and stuff, I don't work with store merchandise. I get tired of being bothered when I am rushing to get something before I clock in and also when I am trying to leave and catch the bus when I work mid shift. THis also happens on the rare occasions that I get a lunch or break. I can't walk through the store without being bothered. I don't think any of these people would want someone bothering them when they are off or on lunch or break, but most of them can just walk out of the office or shut their door. They also come in at closing time which is really a pain.

I love the show How It's Made, and would like to see for myself a factory produce something just as I see on the show. Are there any factory tours around here?

The only one I've ever done is the Ben & Jerry's tour in Vermont, but it was a long time ago and with a lot of other kids who only cared about getting free ice cream at the end. I was more interested in the quality control process!

Im an international student in the UK. I do apologize if my English isn't clear enough.

One of my boyfriend's(British citizen) close friends has stolen 9000 pounds from my boyfriend then disappeared three years ago and continously stealing money from his bank account. We never noticed it since it was always a small amount. We didnt realize it until last year when the bank called to tell us that the account was overbalance. The bank has promised to refund the stolen money but it never happened. Even though agreed that we should not be paying the overbalance interests still they are threatening us to make payments by sending letters nonstop. So we finally gave up and stopped contacting the bank about two months ago.

Today we received another letter saying that they will bring us to the court if fail to pay again but since we will be moving to my country in 20 days so we really want to just leave it. Will my boyfriend be restricted to leave the UK if we ignore the bank?

Is sending you back and forth and neither will give you a straight answer. This is about an erroneaus item on my credit report, that the beaureus refuse to take off. I am so upset over this. These people have been messing up my credit since 2002. I'm begining to think I should just pay for it, even if the charge is not mine just to get over it.

I have a Gym Membership under contract, everything is fine but I just moved and need to cancel it since it would be too far for me. They said its fine with a proof of residency , but I moved in with someone and everything is under his name. I also dont have a job at the moment (dont' worry I have money saved up) so I can't use that either. Is there any other way to proof a residency

I had a bankruptcy on my record in 2002, and am cleaning up my credit report - yet its just under 600, my score- until things get taken off . I've had a FT job all my adult life, have immigrant husband who is also working, 0 credit cards, excellent rental history, no criminal record, yet I am scared to death to not be able to get an apartment with adequate heat for my baby this winter. Any advice?
