I have a Gym Membership under contract, everything is fine but I just moved and need to cancel it since it would be too far for me. They said its fine with a proof of residency , but I moved in with someone and everything is under his name. I also dont have a job at the moment (dont' worry I have money saved up) so I can't use that either. Is there any other way to proof a residency

Get the person you are living with to write you notorized letter that you are living with them and paying so much for your expense to them. Then maybe if that person submit proof of residency along with this letter it should work.

A new piece of ID (like a new driver's liscence,) would be best, but I know from experience that even having mail addressed and delivered to you at your new residence will work in some instances - you could try that, even if you have to mail yourself something. Use your parent's or old employer's return address if you do, though.

If you have moved, then by law you must change your address with the department of licensing on your driver's license. If you don't have a driver's license, then change the address on whatever official ID you have.

Have your new roomate write a letter (as your landlord) stating residency. Or better yet, go to Officemax (or your local independent office store-which I prefer) and buy a lease and sign it with your roomate show it to your Gym, then destroy it (or keep it.. .up to you) Tahhh dahhh.

Your drivers license is supposed to reflect your real address - by law. If you have not updated do so and use that.

Use your driver's license or state ID card.
