i guess i don't know what context you're asking in, but a millwright is basically like a mechanical engineer that works in a mill...in WI we have a lot of paper mills, and they mechanics that work there are usually referred to as "millwrights".

Millwrights are people who install doors, cabinets, hand railings, detailed work in finishing a house.
