I got an International business degree major and would like to put it to use. It's a broad range, but what do most do afterwards? I'd like to work abroad. Thanks in advance!

My county has been declared a state of emergency and my basement has flooded at least twice in two weeks by about a foot. last time there was a neon tetra swimming in the water whicch tells me its coming from the sewers! my landlord has not filed a claim. she fears it will raise her rates or that her ins co will drop her from coverage for trying to file a flood claim w/o having flood coverage! i have no washer/dryer, my water heater is a mess. lord knows what the furnace is like, and not to mention the risk of black mold! FEMA can't help me until she at least files a claim...how can i convince her to do it?

I have just rented an efficiency (studio) apartment. The heat and hot water are paid for by the landlord. I will not be using a/c, a waterbed, or electric blankets. The only appliances that will be on continuously will be my laptop, the refrigerator, alarm clock, cell phone charger and lights. Also, I will only be there for three nights a week.

What can I expect for kilowatt hour usage? The company charges a base rate of about $11 a month, and 11.417 cents per kWh.

Thanks :)

i have a cuple friends who just moved into a rental house they paid rent and deposit and signed a lease. nowhere in the lease did it say the landlord doesnt do repairs, but after they moved in they called the gas company and the gas company told them they would send someone out. when the guy got there hr told him that he assumed the repairs had been done, that he could not turn the gas on because there cuts all over the lines in the house. he told them that the landlord is well aware. when they called the landlord he said "i dont do maintenance" he said if they wanted gas they would have to replace all the lines. They did not pay rent this month because they told him they were going to move and he told them if they did they would not get their deposit back. Is there anything they can do in Missouri

Ok my wife just started a job about 2 months ago as a teller at a credit union and she likes her job even though the pay is 11.15 an hour in Tucson thats a lot starting out. Today she got a call from our real estate agent who asked her if she would be interested in being an assistant to a motgage processor at a nother bank with a starting salary of 45k plus commissions.

She isnt sure if she wants to take it because she just started at the other job but it is twice the pay and even though she would be doing assistant work im sure she would get the oppurtunity to move up. What do you think she should do?

I work for a small organization. At my first evaluation, my boss told me that my work was excellent and that I was very reliable. They however feel that I should not take breaks with my 1 other colleague and that I have to work alone, and take all my breaks alone. This was not written in my offer of employment. I'm confused; I just want to know if they have the right to do that.

Essentially I mean using it soley to provide an income, so not things such as paying off current debt or investing it for growth. Also, what is a realistic amount of interest to safely expect? Would making $80k-$100k in interest per year on the million bucks be realistic with what you are proposing?

i'm not sure if this is the right place to ask the question but here it goes. how does a company benefit from mail-in rebate? why do we pay the money and then send in some paper and get our money back ... how does this benefit the company? there is this flash drive i want to buy from Toshiba and its free after mail-in rebate ... what does Toshiba get out of this? why would they take the money in the first place if they're just gonna send it back?
