Try this one. "I have trouble with people who are not team players, but I'm getting better at dealing with that."

Sometimes it's not bad to admit to a weakness. Many employers are just looking at whether you are willing to admit when you've a mistake. If you say something like, darn it, I just work too hard, they'll know you are just saying what you think they want to hear. Try to come up with something that is true but not too bad. Something like I am a high energy person, always in a good mood, and I think sometimes it bothers people to be around someone who is always cheerful.Good luck in your job search!

Depends on the type of job you're applying for, but I have never been turned down for a job once I get the interview since I left college and here's what's worked for me.

I sometimes take too much upon myself, so while I do work well in a team environment, I can often be overzealous

I could be more organized - I always know where everything is and everything gets done, but if a co-worker were to look for something on my desk, he/she may or may not find it

I like Don Quiote's answer "Chocolate, and what is yours?" Thats cute but they's say, ha ha, now seriously...

So I suggest that you throw out a positive as your weakness. An example would be "I tend to be a perfectionist and sometimes take too much time on things but I'm working on that." I had an employment counselor tell me that that is the perfect answer.

Try to think of a negative trait that relates to work . Tell the interviewer what the trait is and then speak very positively about what you are doing to overcome it or correct it. In other words, turn a negative into a positive.

This ex. comes to mind...

"At times I can be apprehensive about speaking in front of a group of my peers, but I am an active member of Toastmasters International and I am also enrolled in a Speech course at such and such community college this semester... "

I have had the same problem and have said that I am very hard on myself for not knowing everything. Really, it is a dumb question to ask someone - I think you should turn the table and say "what type of weaknesses do you have?" and then say "me too"

You can say something like l once had a problem with organization but i have overcome that with an organization class. never state a weakness but give an example of something that you have corrected or overcome.

Yeah !! It's tough to think negative when you are perfect...

If you aren't smart enough to know what your weaknesses are, or at least give a decent answer, you don't deserve the job.

make it a positive weakness like

on some projects I take too much ownership sometimes

or working on one thing at a time, I like to be busy.

I over think some problems.

whatever weakness you give just site examples of how you are fixing it.. or how you work around it. They know everyone has flaws, they want to know A) that you know your weaknesses, and B) that you want to be better and you are constantly trying to be come a better person/ employee.

Be honest. It will show them you have a good sense of self evaluation. Then tell them what you plan on or are doing to fix your weaknesses.
