I see these type businesses all over town, and people are always
walking in and out. I assume it caters to low income people,
but why don't people just go to a regular bank?

Please share your vision of what we might see in 5 years or so. Refrain from machines that are 20+ years out like food replicators. I'm thinking of investing a few thousand $ in a company that is actually working in this field, but I am interested in what you imagine around the bend as well.

person responsible for paying the mortgage is not paying on time, he dosnt want to put the mortgage on his name nor he wants to sell the house. ,what are my options, should I tell mortgage bank that they should call him and take off my name from mortgage, what are my legalities and rights since deed his on his name and he doesnt return my calls. he is a mortgage officer and he knows everyone in real estate proffession from attorney to agent, I am getting very scarred as I m getting calls every month from mortgage company that my mortgage is due, as he is already one month behind.
Month of april alreday shows on my credit report as a late payment. please someone help me with a professional advice.

well, he is an investor not living there (mortgage officer), he is the one approved my loan for this house, his friend find me this house (real estate agent), the house is in NY, and both are in NY . I have nothing to do any thing with NY, I am from NJ, this Mortgage officer is my cousin !!! , initially he told me that you have nothing to do but sign the papers and i will get you good chunk of money in 3-4 months, i dont know what comes to me and i signed the papers.
I dont know how can I go about and what to do, initially he forge the papers to approve for loan (he put his address as I am living there in NY, my income level is also showed as 10 times which i make, thats a long story), I didnt take any money from him matter of fact I have paid 3 mortgage payments from my pocket, he promised me orally that he will give me back my money once He sold the house, we didnt have any written contract. It is a 2 family house and both floors are rented. rent is not covering the mortgage.
he puts his name on deed, but the mortgage is on my name, i dont know if deed and title are the same papers.

Instead of buying your: soda, chips, candy bars, beer, cigarettes, etc. at your local gas station; you bought them elsewhere? I know that many stations are indepently owned, but if everyone did this would it get the point across that people are tired of being gouged by the big oil companies?

I am 19, I have a job at a hospital that I love, but it is always slow during the summer. I recently helped a friend with rent, and now my bank account is suffering, dumb on my part for not looking ahead. But I seriously need some cash fast. So any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Please help. I've done the debt management thing myself. I've called the creditors to lower our APR's as low as they can go, but we have so many cards opens (& some closed) w/ so much outstanding debt that we have no $ left over a month to pay anything more than the minimums payments. With rent, doctors bills, etc it feels like there's no room to even breathe.I was thinking of filing for bankruptcy, but I don't really know what that means for the things we have. Do they take them back?
I don't want to uproot my family from the only apartment we have ever really been able to call home, but for the past 6 months, we've come close to not being able to pay rent. My husband just got a stable job, so we won't have to put our lives on the credit cards for much longer, but I don't know how we're going to make it this month & possilbly next. We already own his parents for lending us $ last month, so we can't borrow anymore. And there isn't anymore room or time for another job for either of us.

My husband and I have a great idea for a business, (well actually, we have a few), but we are BROKE! We know for sure that our latest idea would be a hit, but it seems these days like you need money to make money. Our credit isn't the greatest, (we fell al little behind when I went on maternity leave and weeks later his union went on strike), so we're afraid we won't qualify for a loan. Any ideas on where to start?

Two days ago, during an abusive and accusatory meeting with my boss (only one of many), I stood up, said, 'enough, I quit' and walked out. Human Resources now wants me to submit a resignation letter. Is there any reason I shouldn't do this right away? Could I somehow harm my self by doing this?

Before i'm too old and frail to try. I'v been employed in engineering related industries all my working life, my present employer is a major aerospace manufacturer. Although i'm open to other engineering avenues. I've no idea what so ever how to go about seeking employment in the US or what visas/ paperwork are required any and all assistance is gratefully received.
