I have just rented an efficiency (studio) apartment. The heat and hot water are paid for by the landlord. I will not be using a/c, a waterbed, or electric blankets. The only appliances that will be on continuously will be my laptop, the refrigerator, alarm clock, cell phone charger and lights. Also, I will only be there for three nights a week.

What can I expect for kilowatt hour usage? The company charges a base rate of about $11 a month, and 11.417 cents per kWh.

Thanks :)

Are you sure you'll be using a light not a candle? Just kidding. Anyway, I think your electric bill shouldn't be more than $50 a month.

Your top bills still should be under a hundred bucks. Most of your bills will probably be around $55.
