This is an immediate annuity that was being paid out and the annuitant passed away, therefore the payments were going equally to 4 beneficiaries. What would happen if one of those beneficiaries then dies? Is the money then split 3 ways? Does the insurance company keep that share? Or can each beneficiary name a contingent beneficiary?

I am very interested in photography, and I want to take nature and outdoor photographs, buildings, etc. I won't be doing too much indoor stuff.

I was wondering what the legalities are for selling photographs of something that is someone else's property, say a sports stadium or a landmark, or a private structure...

I need to know how far back you can pay taxes. I have an aunt that is older and she states she forgot to pay her taxes...she is now trying to oficially retire and she was told she has not paid any taxes for the past 10 years (she was paid in cash) and that she would have to work the 10 years to get SS and medicare benefits.

Can't she just pay the taxes for those 10 years?

Additional Details

Update: Let's say she never made the minimal amount to file and now needs to recieve ss benefits because she is over 65, how can she swing that? Or as my original question said, how far back can you pay with no problems?

I had my very first job interview on Monday.. and it went really well..

What are your best qualities: Im responsible and I do things with quality...

Why Coffee People: They arent as "commericalized" as others...

What would you do if there was a problem: I would say that I was sorry, that it would be a one time thing, and that I hope they come back again...

Etc. etc.

So then at the very end, she said, "We'll call you on Thursday."

I asked around and heard that they normally call people to offer them a job.. and if they arent, they'll send you a card..

What do you think?

A very typical answer from the shop assistants when you ask them for a different size, colour or fresh product on displays, and can often be heard from big departmentstores. Do you believe them? Or, they're just plain lazy to find you stuff?

Right now, I have been offer an opporunity to move to another company as an executive assistant. I love my current job but the commute is killing me. Moving to this new job will mean a shorter commute/more money.

The flip side I am going through a rough separation and current job is understanding. I been with my current company three years in July and I do see a future in HR.

I think about turning down the job but any comments would be appreciated.

Ever see those ads for certain products with price reductions of over nearly 60% off? If you're looking for a catch here it is. You get excited and plan your next purchase only to find out that a large portion of that 60% off is connected to a mail in rebate. P'd off? Of course!

Companies use this 'mail in rebate' to catch consumers who dont pay attention. The price says from $799 to $599 but most people dont see the fine print of the mail in rebate and are already on their way to purchase the computer (exactly what they want). And lets say you notice the mail in rebate before you make a purchase. You still think its a good deal (IF YOU REMEMBER TO MAIL IT IN). After purchasing the computer you go on with your life. Days turn into weeks and weeks into months and next thing you know your mail in rebate is forgotten like an old 70's vinyl.

Companies make money off our laziness but it doesnt have to be this way. Avoid purchasing mail in rebate products and it should cease to exist!
