Do you know where I can more information about investing in corporate bonds? I heard there was a new york bond exchange, but yahoo and google did not provide many results.

The New York Stock Exchange operates something called the Automated Bond System. It is a little like a bond exchange. Not many bonds actually trade there. Most trade in the "over the counter" market. But the NYSE's system is a good alternative for individual investors. See the link below.

Yahoo! has a good starting point and of course advertising listings for buying bonds. All bond purchases are in $1000 increments so you'll need a good amount of cash.

Most bonds aer traded over the counter -- not on an exchange.

One lot of bonds is $100,000 face value. To have a well diversified bond portfolio, you need millions.
