I am very interested in photography, and I want to take nature and outdoor photographs, buildings, etc. I won't be doing too much indoor stuff.

I was wondering what the legalities are for selling photographs of something that is someone else's property, say a sports stadium or a landmark, or a private structure...

I am pretty sure that most of what you take is you property. However, you have to be careful taking pictures of people and they profiting from them. You usually have to get their consent to use their picture somewhere else.

I have some very good people pictures that I cannot enter in contest because I did not get the persons name.

I always make sure I do that now when I think I have captured a good shot.
