We have a masonry company, and had an oral contract to brick a house and now the person has got another contractor. We did the foundation already and was ready to brick the house and when we took our equipment to the job site they tell us they got someone else. Is there anything we can do when someone breaks an oral contract?

The basement where the meters r located is always locked and the previous landlord would never come to the premises to allow the utility companies access to the basement to read the meters...The new landlord that purchased the building installed automatic read meters and as a result of this I was charged the proper charges incurred for all the back estimated bills and now my bill is more than I can handle. I set up a payment agreement with the utility company but fell in default due to a lose of income....Is there anything that I can do in regards to this situation b4 my utilities are shut off....I'm in New York City

Okay, I moved to California about two years ago, after graduating from college. I currently work for "a large company that deals with mice"-hint hint. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre and have many different talents and skills. I make about $1200 a month, but I am barely making it. I am looking for a career, but I cannot seem to find anything. If anyone has any info, please help.

I have a great opportunity to do something I've been wanting to try involving acting. I have a full time and crazy job that requires my attendance and to not show up unexpectantly would be a real hassel for the people I work with. Yes, I could call in sick, but my position is hard to fill at the last minute.

Im an eBay seller. I sell lots of things, and I want to get in on the clothing biz. I can't seem to find any good wholesale clothing that aren't knockoffs or counterfeits, and I don't want to go to prison. The only good clothes I found come in pallets or truckloads and cost around $4,000+, and I dont have that kind of money to throw around on my first clothing order. It would be nice to buy about 20-100 pieces of clothing to resell, but I dont know where to look. Any suggestions?
