Skin & Body - December 2007

I'm of mixed Scandinavian and Portuguese descent, and, consequentially i tan extremely well and very fast. I'm going on a Hawaiian cruise for ten days coming up soon here, and i want to know how to ensure i don't get too tan.
The problem is that i hate being too tan - i feel like people look at me and think i fake tan. Furthermore, because my facial features are so scandinavian, i just look bizarre when i'm very well-tanned.
Any suggestions besides wearing long sleeve shirts and hats 24/7? Any good sunblock?

So I Was Thinking About Getting My Nose Pireced But My Mom Will Probally Say No Because She'll Find Some Excuss Of "Oh I'll Get Hurt And yadda yadda On And On." So I Was Wanting to find a way of conving her to let me. And Does Anybody No Any Health Risk Of Doing This. Does Is Hurt?

ok so whenever a teacher asks me a question and im wrong, my face turns red, im not embaressed, or nervous i dont know why but my face just always turns red. Whenever i have to do a thing called "public speaking" my face turns red, again im not embarressed nervous or anything, it just turns red

Also one day in class i had the hiccups and my teacher was like "thats not going to go on for the whole class" he laughed a little then said "just kidding" once again, my face turned red!!
When my face turns red, some person said "hey,why is your face all red?" WTF. i get so pissed because i have no reson for it to be.
Any suggestions on how to stop this??

There is yellow puss comeing out of my peircing, very red around the area and it hurts when touched.

i gotten the peircing 2 weeks ago.

if it is infected please tell me how to cure it with out taking the peircing out.

before you all get your panties in a bunch, i already HAVE this tattoo. i'm trying to get a good picture of it for a project i'm working on, but i'm not capable of taking a photo of my lower back - lol. not to mention when i got mine done i got it in gray & color instead of black (its much prettier that way). BUT, i still need to find this tattoo online. i have a crappy website that i found, but its hard to use the image. can anyone else find this somewhere? perferably as flash and not as a photo of the tattoo, but if its a good photo i'll use that.

well, i've wanted to have a lip piercing and/or eventually a double labret piercing for a couple of years now, and just recently i've been seriously looking into it.
however, i wasn't sure if it would look right on my face...

i've heard about piercing shops giving you a trial ring or whatever to wear for a certain number of days...?
would it be better to have one lip ring and then get the other later down the road, or not? or would this even be possible?
um... also, if i would ever have to take out the piercings for whatever reason, would they heal and grow closed?
however, i'm not really in a position that would make me remove them, just an "in case" reassurance.
but if this happened, what would the scars look like?
and would it be easy to hide with make-up?

My son was born Sept. 20, 2007 and I would like to get a tattoo this Saterday. I already know I want his First and Middle name and than his birthdate underneither, but I'd like for this to be written on a colorful background of something meaningful.
