i shaved my legs,tighs and penis (1st time)4 days ago.?

Question

on 2 days i will go to a pool with all my family ,friend, etc.I wear speedos, i have no boardshorts.
im known for being hairy.
im gay but no1 knows it.
what should i do?!?!?!?

Relax. Keeping secrets can be hard, especially one of your sexual orientation. No one should judge you because you are gay, and maybe this will be an opportunity to let your family know that you are gay. Your family loves you, and should support you. Maybe, dont wear a speedo this time. Possibly buy a pair of trunks to go to the pool in, so you can keep your shaved areas a secret. It will be fine if you just buy a pair of swim trunks, but more importantly, you should consider taking this family time to let them know you are gay. It will be worse if they find out themselves about your secret, and I think it can't hurt to get it out yourself, so they know that you trust them knowing. Don't keep it a secret too long because if someone finds out for themselves, it will only make things harder.

Well if it's going to be another two days I would probably shave again before you go, stubble is kinda gross...

Next part is if you want everyone to know, or guess, that you're gay or not. Hopefully you're in decent shape, have at least some tan and look good in a speedo, not always an easy thing for a fat, hairy guy to pull off. If not, get some shorts and wear a shirt, don't gross out the kids and scar them for life. And who cares if you shaved your penis? You're not going to whip it out and show to everybody are you?

Guys shaving their bodies is not as big a deal as it was in the past. They're selling electric shavers designed for men's bodies now, so body shaving and gay are not inclusive.

I'm sure someone knows you're gay, if not they're going to eventually find out. As for the speedo, you might like wearing them in the right place and time but you'll have to decide if jumping out in public, shaved and in a speedo at a family gathering is the right place and time.

A lot of people are uncomfortable by guys (of any age) in speedo type suits for whatever reason so you may want to consider that. Even if I looked hot in a speedo, which I don't, I would be hesitant to wear one in a place where I would make people uncomfortable. Yeah, I know, they should get over it, but the fact remains that people are still not accepting of anything gay or anything that appears gay. Why force it upon them? It doesn't help resolve anything.

If you really want to go the speedo route you might wear one under shorts and see how it goes...

Well partner, it sounds to me like you are in one hell f a pickle. There are a couple of options that you have. There may be more, but these are the ones that I can think of.

#1=If you have a "hard body", like muscle builder type body, then you can tell them you shaved for a competition that you plan on entering. They may or may not buy that though.

#2=Break from the norm and get you a pair of long board shorts. Take your chances for losing the title of "Speedo King".

#3=Wear some normal everyday street clothes when you go meet everyone. Stay up real late and get up real early that day so your eyes are puffy and red. Then you can tell everyone that you have been sort of sick so you are not going to get in the pool. It may work for you.

#4=Use the pool party/family get together as your "coming out party". Just let everyone know about your lifestyle and see what their responses are.

Next time, go to a professional waxer. Shaving will cause you to get razor rash (which everyone can see) and when it starts growing out in about 3 days time, it will itch like the dickens.

OR you can use a cream depilatory which doesn't cause razor rash, takes longer to grow out and leaves skin smoother. But since you are hairy, get a formula made for thick hair. Check with your local beauty supply store.

In the mean time, go to the local thrift store and you can get boardshorts for a few bucks if you are short on cash. Otherwise, make an excuse that you are sick and shouldn't swim or what ever.

Eventually you will need to confide your preferences with your family....and if they truely love you, they will eventually accept you as you are.

I didnt know you could have a hairy penis..that must itch, For your legs, speedo line chest etc I suggest proffesional waxing, cause waxing gets rid of the hair for a month while if u shave it comes back every 2 days stubbly.

2. use this as an opportunity to come out to your family

Being gay has nothing to do with being hairy. You don't have to say anything about being gay unless you are ready to talk about it. As far as shaving, some swimmers shave to help then swim faster (cuts down on drag in the water).

expect people to raise their eyebrows. What happens when in a day or so you get whiskers all over you. You should've had it done properly . Wear a wet suit. Or be sick that day so you don't have to put on your speedos
