surgery is not the answer to skin lightening;
there are safe and effective skin lightening products to help you achieve a lighter skin tone.. but most commercial otc products deliver little results, so it is important to know a reliable source to get your money's worth.

No! ,..but before, i thought over-the-counter products can make the skin lighter. such products that are being offered are whitening soaps,solutions,astringent, etc..but the only way u can REALLY whiten the skin is by surgery. the Melanin, which is responsible for the color of our skin should be eliminated/destroyed so that even if u exposed yourself to sunlight, ur skin won't darken.although if u do undergo this surgery, ur skin would be very sensitive to the sun

To lighten naturally dark skin or to lighten tanned skin? Skin tanned with sunless bronzers can sometimes be lightened with lemon juice.
