In many people blushing is just a natural reaction and it happens easily to them. It is a reaction to stress, embarassment, or nervousness. You may not feel those things conciously, but your skin apparently has other ideas about the situation. Your body may not require you to be super embarassed to turn pink.

If you get called on and immediately you worry that you're going to turn red again, you will. The more you think about it, the more likely it will happy and the longer it will last.

Your best chance to get it to go away is to stop worrying about it completely. Make it a non-issue for you. It doesn't matter if your face turns red as long as you are able to answer or give a speech. If you know what you are talking about and relax, it won't matter if you turned green while speaking. Don't stand there commanding yourself to stop blushing. Just let it go and live with it. It will probably stop happening so much once you're over it.

If people ask why you blush just shrug and tell them it happens. It's not something you can control, so there is nothing to be embarrassed about. Just look like it's nothing and explain that you blush easily. Its true, and the less of a big deal you make about it the more likely people are to believe its just a physical over reaction.

I do the same thing--blushing. It's just because I'm a fair-freckled-skinnned redhead.

There may be a dr.'s option to help with this--see a dermatologist.

That happens to me all the time :P
the worst is if I'm talking to someone one on one.
they always end up thinking I like them.

The only thing you can do is just not worry about it and let it go away on it's own.
