to let me get my navel pierced, i'm 14 and she says the only reason i can't is b/c her and my dad are divorced and if my dad find out, b/c i live with my dad and visit my mom alot, that he will never let me go to her house again and i really want my navel pierced and she says yea but dad is not fond of piercings accept the ears. but i really wanthis for June 15 when i go to swim at a grad. party so i can show it off. and i wantthis piercing not b/c it's tredy or w/e. i want it b/c like how it looks.

I really wish I could have smoother skin on my face and chest, but it seems hopeless. Is this a losing battle?

My skin is not bad at all, just not a smooth as I would like it to be. I have never had a problem with acne, just discoloration mostly.

Any suggestions?

i've been using it for about 2 months now, and it's helped a little..but not much. do i have to wait longer or what? also i've just been using the 1st and 3rd step. are all the steps necessary? and one more thing- how often a day should i be doing it? i only do it once a night. THX

since im very white and only like to tan for 30 minutes and it never helps after weeks and weeks. is there any kind of product that will help me tan better? since im using tanning oil and it doesnt really want to work on me and either does suntan lotion.

I have never waxed before so today was my first time and it's quite painful, I had to stop so I couldnt finish although I managed half of my leg will try again tomorrow. I have quite thick dark hair and a lot of it. Is this normal to not be able to wax the whole leg the first time you do it, the hair was long enough too.
My pain tolorance is quite high but boyo boy it was a little too much in the end.
Also is it true it hurts less the second time you wax because the hair is thinner.
I have had enough of shaving as it only lasts about 4 hours smooth then starts to regrow again.

I'm trying to make my feet look for the summer,
since it's flip-flop season.
my feet are kinda pale.
i don't want to have to go to to the salon,
but something i can do at home
that only takes about 2-3 days.

It looks like leather, almost like I've tanned to much, which I never do. I wash my face daily, usually with Oil of Olay soap for sensitive skin and follow up with a moisturizer. Once a week I use St. Ives apricot scrub to exfoliate and also follow up with a moisturizer. I've never had this problem in the past. It started all of the sudden.

I guess as a black person it's hard for me to understand why someone would be so vain in this way. It's not good for a person's skin to be out on the beach all day, especially if they're white, but yes these are the people that insist on exposing their skin to the sun to get skin cancer, dry their skin out and cause premature aging. :\

Take a look at what Farrah Fawcett looks like now. Extremely wrinkled, leathery and dry. Is that what you wanna look like?
