Oh yeah, WAY less likely to have lasting loose skin! When you're young, the skin can tighten up again a lot faster and easier than when you are older. My friend lost about 50 lbs when she was 28 and almost all the skin shrunk back into place. She had only a little bit of loose skin in the tummy area. She did end up with some stretch marks on her boobs, upper arms and stomach though. She's now 34 and because she gained about 25 lbs back, she's trying to lose weight again but the skin isn't shrinking back as fast.

The heavier you are the more skin there is to deal with. My friend was 200+ lbs and got down to about 145-150 without much of a problem because she was in her 20s. She had also only been 200 lbs for a couple of years but she was always overweight even before she hit 200. The longer you are heavy, the harder it is for the skin to go back, especially if you are older. A teen shouldn't have that much of a problem.
