I read in a magazine that you're supposed to splash warm water on your face, use your cleanser, splash cold water on your face, and then use your moisturizer. Well, in the magazine it said splash warm water on your face to open your pores and cold water to close them. Well, I have acne fighting astringent and acne fighting moisturizer. When am I supposed to splash cold water on my face? I don't think you should splash it on your face after you use moisturizer. Am I correct?

my eyes are really bad to the extent that people around me ask me every sec if i'm a sickler and i keep ansewering no!no! no!

How come? Which would give me the best long-term results? I've always been interested in going to a tanning salon, but I'm unsure as to how many times I'd need to go in order to achieve a natural looking tan (I'm fairly pale) and/or if I would need to continue going in order to keep the tan. Any information would be extremely helpful.

My mom has to think about it (which more than likely means a big fat NO) and my dad probably won't accept me if I do get it done. Why are so many people tan, yet if you TALK to people, or read articles, yahoo answers, etc, everyone says, oh tanning is bad for you, you should not do it!!! I know here where I live, MOST girls get a nice golden glow in the spring and summer, if not all year round. How long do you think it will be before we truly change to the point of finding tans unattractive? I mean, they used to worship pure white skin on women-will we ever go back to that? (PS I too think I look better with a tan, sigh.)
