Most of the times, the problem is that we are using products containing mineral oil and alcohol and fragrances these all are very damaging for our skin's health.... mineral oil because it is an ingredient that is derivated form petroleum....it will be like using car oil and exposing your self to the sun in fact it is the 2nd worse thing you could do to your skin (1st thing will be the sun) using fragrances or chemicals or dyes are known irritants and can cause allergic reactions. what i use to shave my legs would be a face wash formulatted without these i have told you about ... it is called Nutrimin-C RE9 Face wash: look for it at the left margin under anti-aging.... I know it is a face wash but honestly it is great and leaves your skin smooth and shinny.... and after that you can put their body lotion fast without waiting for it will not give you a reaction or sting.... http://arbonnepuertorico.myarbonne.com and also check this site out about toxins in "beauty" products.... http://easylink.playstream.com/ydc/Arbonne/fox_news.wvx

stop shaving 'down there' first off, if you are old enough, go get waxed, its the best way.

if not, and you must shave, use a NEW razor every time, make sure you are in hot water in the tub lying down. if you soften your skin first, there are less bumps. next, use a shaving cream OR use your hair conditioner to prep the area.

while shaving, always go against the grain of your hair, that is, always make sure that you are shaving the opposite way your hair is growing. do slow and even movements. also, make sure that you keep this maintained, dont let it grow out really long and try to do this, you have to trim it down first.

once you are finished, use a mild scrub to exfoliate your skin and apply alcohol free facial toner down there to close your pores. shave every couple of days doing the same thing, and on the days that you dont shave, make sure that you use the scrub and toner to prevents bumps.

to cool the irriatation, try green infused alcohol free lotion or bikini zone lotion that helps soothe irritated skin. make sure that you are wearing cotton undies to make sure that your skin can breathe down there.

other than that. good luck and try that intuition razor, its great...

Olay Ribbons Body Wash with Jojoba Butter, the purple one, use it after shaving down there. It really works.

I would suggest using aloe vera gel afterwards. The irritation will decrease on its own though, in time.

Just don't shave down there. A nice thick bush is better for you.

I think a professional wax or Nair for sensitive skin (get the kind especially made for that area) works so much better! That is *very* sensitive skin.
