Have you tried the over the counter chemical peels? Olay sells a kit, and a few other big name brands have them, too. I've had the same problem with my skin, and found using the kit made my skin much smoother, with a rosy glow! I think the kits fall within the 20-30 dollar range, but are worth it because it will last you a long time.

Try mixing in a bowl some brown sugar and a drop of lemon juice(just a drop). Put the mixture on your face or any other part of your body and scrub gently. Rinse the mixture from your face using lukewarm water. This process will remove all of the dead skin which will leave your skin smooth and fresh looking. Followup with a moisturizer...I prefer pure cocoa butter because it smoothes marks, scars & rough, dry skin. A good brand to try is Black & Beautiful Cocoa Butter Stick. It is only 97 cents and can be found at every Walmart on their Black Hair Care aisle.
I suggest that you steam your face twice a month. You want to always start with a clean face. What you do is put some boiling hot water in a bowl (a huge bowl) and lean over it with a towel covering your head and the bowl...I usually do this for about 15-20 mins. Stay away from alcohol based products...they just dry out your skin and never wash your face with soap. I hope I was able to help!

Most of the times, the problem is that we are using products containing mineral oil and alcohol and fragrances these all are very damaging for our skin's health.... mineral oil because it is an ingredient that is derivated form petroleum....it will be like using car oil and exposing your self to the sun in fact it is the 2nd worse thing you could do to your skin (1st thing will be the sun) using fragrances or chemicals or dyes are known irritants and can cause allergic reactions.. you should never sacrifice this versus something that will maybe cost a little less but not give you the same benefits... i take really good care of my self and my family, first of all, remember to avoid using products formulatted with mineral oil and animal products. These do not get absorbed by the skin and what it does is that it clogs your pores. the important thing to do is read your ingredients and use the right ones regularly .... also bathing daily cleanses the skin, but it also can dry it out, causing it to look dull, but most importantly, it may cause irritation and remove the natural emolients your body produces to keep it healthy. When you bathe, always use a moisture-rich cleanser, and always pamper your skin with a daily moisturizer. I use arbonne products.... http://arbonnepuertorico.myarbonne.com (under shop online) because they are botanically based and you could really see the difference, i had acne and lots of blemishes and my skin has cleared so much thanks their line clear advantage , it really is amazing and they have everything for everybody.... theire deep pore cleansing mask and their scrub is just perfect for eliminating the blackheads. Also their face wash is great because it cleanses without drying and removes all traces of makeup and dirt.... works wonderful for me and the bes thing is that you could shop online, receive it in your house and if ther is something you do not like about the products which is rarely to happen, you return the item and they give your money back .... also check this site from the fox news about toxins in beauty products.....

I just bought St.Ives Apricot Scrub today, and after using it once already see results. It comes in a jar, and it's failry cheap, like 5 bucks at walmart for a jar, and you only need to use a little. Basically, there are lots of options available, i saw many brands and products at walmart. Anything with exfoliation should be good, and make sure you massage it into your skin good.

You need to make sure you have a good skin care regime. Make sure you cleanse and moisturise morning and night (especially at night to get rid of make up and pollution). Exfoliate twice a week, good face pack to hydrate the skin once a week and finally drink 2 litres of water per day.

try this mix sea salt with oatmeal and water, make it a paste. then smear it on your face like a mask and allow to dry. wash off -your face will be much smoother. Also use ponds cold cream everyday-put cold cream on your face allow to sit for one minute wipe off with a warm rag. Use seabreeze with cotton after to wipe off any excess oil. Also try St Ives apricot scrub-that works too.

Wash it several times (between six and ten times a day) with fresh plain water. Nature will do the rest.
