Makeup - February 2007

I bought today some makeup at Macy's and I don't like it... The quality is different to the makeup that i saw in the counter there... I don't know why...
can I return this makeup if I tested already in home? Another thing is that the eyeshadow was looling like tested before... I just notice that when I opened in the house.

My face isn't really that oily, and i dont get a lot og huge pimples, but i hav a lot of these really small bumps, on my face. What would help make them not that visible. Foundation isn't working....thnx

I just bought my first foudation and i followed what people said to test it on the neck. My skin is naturally tan so i couldnt really see. I got covergirl's trublend powder foundation in buff beige. When i got home, it looked good. but i did the camera test and took a picture . my face looked like it was floating. it was lighter than my neck. I do not wanna waste my money. what should i do? should i put bronzer over it?

Ok, it seems like every kind of eyeliner I bought always and comes off within 3 hours!!!! I bought Almay Intense i-Color & it didn't even stay on 4 an hour. Ok I recently got a Wet n' Wild pencil liner, it stays on but still comes off easily..but 2day I put sum powder on my eyelids then put eyeliner on it stayed on for about 5 hours. & whenever I re-apply it smudges!!!! 2morrow i'm going to use eyeshadow 4 eyeliner and wet the tip 1st...Would that be any better??? & is there any way I can get my eyeliner from coming off??? Thanx!






BTW: I put my eyeliner right above the lash line.

Hey. So I have like lines under my eyes. I guess you could call them bags. And I put this eye cream on and the concealer over the bags. But it doesnt help! Does any body have any suggestions..like brands of make-up or tricks that you use? Thanks!

i have a blush compact thing, its the red powder with a small brush...i have absolutely no experience with this b/c every time i try it, i end up looking like a choking baby...my cheeks get so red! can u tell me how to apply it so that i get the effect that everyone else has? && i dont know any of the terms so you'll have to explain it! thanx so much! <3

Well since I am trying not to use animals as food, I'm very concerned about the ingredients in my cosmetics either. How can I be sure of what origin are the ingredients in my face cream since it is only written on the packing for instance:... PEG8, , Prenoxyethanol,, disodium EDTA ...etc. I don't want in any case to use the poor animals ever if for my own skin!

When I met my girlfriend and I told her I liked her look(the way she did her hair and makeup)she stopped doing this. When I asked her why she said because I told her I liked it. She told me she didnt have a problem looking pretty for other boys because they didnt tell her they like her look. But as soon as I went overseas she started looking pretty again. I wear lots of eyeliner, at times.. not always though. I like to change it up a bit. I really like to experiment with eyeliner, and when I go to school, by a few hours it's all smeared on my face, or almost totally off. I hate the smudgy-ness. So, I swear by this Secret brand deoderant in gel form and it always smells so good and lasts all day. Lately I have noticed it wearing off late afternoon. Obviously one of the solutions is to just apply more, but I don't always have it with me. I shower everday and always apply deoderant. My daily physical activities have not increased so why is this happening? Can anyone reccomend a good brand for me to switch to?

You can have two people side by side, both with blonde hair, brown eyes, pale, but they cannot wear the same colors without one person being washed out terribly by them. The skin tone, whether cool or warm, is the determining factor. Are most folks honestly uninformed about how skin tones work or do they not care?
