Ok, it seems like every kind of eyeliner I bought always and comes off within 3 hours!!!! I bought Almay Intense i-Color & it didn't even stay on 4 an hour. Ok I recently got a Wet n' Wild pencil liner, it stays on but still comes off easily..but 2day I put sum powder on my eyelids then put eyeliner on it stayed on for about 5 hours. & whenever I re-apply it smudges!!!! 2morrow i'm going to use eyeshadow 4 eyeliner and wet the tip 1st...Would that be any better??? & is there any way I can get my eyeliner from coming off??? Thanx!
BTW: I put my eyeliner right above the lash line.

Maybe instead of using a pencil, you should use liquid liner. I used to have problems with smudging. It was worse during hot, humid seasons. But when I started using liquid liners, that problem went away.
Try Revlon ColorStay liquid liner, it's the one i'm using.
Also, do not rub your eyes.
If you are not comfortable using liquid liners, Mac sells eyeshadow primers that help the make-up stay on your eyes. It's also good for pencil liners.

I use mineral eyeshadow for my eyeliner. It seems to work best (with any eyeshadow shade or brand) when you slighty wet the tip of an eyeliner or eyeshadow brush (can be found at CVS, Wal-Mart, Walgreens) and rub it on the eyeshadow. The apply with short strokes to your lasline. Applying powder and a light, base eyeshadow first also helps.

I hear ya, I'm trying Revlon's ColorStay pencil, which claims to be a 12 hour deal. It doesn't last that long, but it's the best at not smudging that I've found. GOOD LUCK

try Almay that lasts 16 hours that works really good, trust me i've been in the same exact situation as you and i've tried soooo many different eyeliners. hope this helps and will be a best answer!

Do you prefer pencil or liquid? I use an eyeliner pencil from Sally Beauty Supply brand- Palladio.

sorry to tell you but make up aint gonna stay on all day sometimes it says that but not true. well powder is the way to go. also dont rub ur eyes when u have it on becuase it comes off faster.

Yes and my eyeliner stays on 4 at least 6hour but you can also try Bon Bons I don't know if it will stay on for u though b/c I sometimes use it and it stays on me for at least 7hour. So try that product
