try using a color that's not as bright as that. but for now, after putting some on the brush, blow on the brush so there's not as much on it. locate your cheekbones. if you're not sure where these are, feel around on your face until you find the edge of the bone, about halfway down your ears to your nose. This is the proper place to apply the blush, AVOID THE CHEEKS! Start with you cheekbones only. It's the most natural look, and the easiest to accomplish.

try a bronzer, it gives an even nicer look then the blush.
but with using the blush, suck in your face and make a "fishy face" then apply on the cheek bones. Move the brush in a circular way and blend it in.
Try applying the blush near a window or so where theres direct sunlight, so you'll know exactly how it'll look when your out and stuff... and it'll look more natural because with normal light you won't see as clearly and you might apply more

First, find a new color, preferably one that is only a shade or two darker than your natural skin tone. Run the brush in the powder then blow on the applicator lightly to get rid of the excess powder. Smile, dust the "puffy, rounded" part of your cheek or "apple" of your cheek (usually under the mid line of your eye) , blending some lightly along your cheekbone to your hairline. (These days you don't even have to blend it all the way to the hairline if you don't want to) You can also blend it in gently with your fingertips or a make-up sponge.

For easy application, sweep blush downward from the ear to mid-cheek, beginning in line with the top of the ear and ending at the end of the apple of your cheek. It also helps theit look more natural when you smile while you apply the blush. It is best to choose colors that are close to your skin tone.

Always remember, when it comes to applying your blush, less is best.

if you over apply, i little trick is to get a paper towel and just drizzle a little water on it. Then pat the paper towel over the area where you applies the blush. If you put too much water it will completely wipe off the blush, sometimes u mite also have to wipe a little to get a more even look

your blush cant be to dark and you need a bigger brush and to blend up the cheekbone-starting at the chubby part of the cheek-but not putting the most of it there, also remember that your cheeks arent the only place you need blush-it can go lightly anywhere to give you a healthier appearence

a great way to do this is to put the bluch onto the applicator and this rub the applicater back and forth on the back of your hands a few times! this way there is still the colour you want, but there is not so much on the brush. you can also gauge how much comes off the brush at once by doing this and can see how hard you will have to push!

Honestly... get a more subtle color.

You could also blend more.
