NYC producs come in a variety of colors. Although I have a light skin tone, I have some of their eyeshadows and eyeliners. Try some of the lighter browns for a nice effect.
Good luck!

Okay, I apply the Mary Kay Signature black roll-on eyeliner to both the lower and upper immer rims of my eyes. After this, I apply a thin coat of dark mascara, and then finish with a light, shimmery brown eyeshadow. Sometimes I apply a cream colored eyeshadow over it to kind of soften the brown, then rub in with my finger so it looks more natural. The key is to apply most of the eyeshadow at the crease of your eyelids, then less on the top and nearest your lashes. The only downside to doing the brown eyeshadow is that you probably need to go over it with a bit of foundation, otherwise the color of your eyelids aren't in proportion with the rest of your face. I do this, and I get compliments from all the guys saying I have the most beautiful eyes, and the girls all want to know how I do my eye makeup. Trust me honey, this works! <3

if you have a white eyeshadow or white eyeliner, line the bottom of your eyes by your bottom lashes and in the crook of your eye. It will make your dark eyes pop against the white makeup that blends w/ the whites of your eyes. I have brown eyes and i do this, so i know by experience. AND you can try different colors instead of white, too, if you want to be really wild lol. Don't forget, afterwards to apply a brownish-black or soft-black mascara! :-) Gl!

I'll say... purple to match your eyes. It'll bring out the brownness. Line your top lash line with purple or black to make your eyes "POP". I also prefer green and blue but I'll only match depending on your hair color and skin tone. But I like putting gold on mines. Then i lined my lash line with a black eyeliner. Curl and coat my lashes. Put a little color below me eyes but not too much and not too dark or it'll make you look like you got punch!! OUCH!! Put blush on too! It'll make your eyes and cheeks look lovely and adorable!!

For brown eyes it is best to go with a green eye shodow and gray eye liner.

I think purple. Right now , I'm to young to wear makeup, but my big sister, who is 24, wears purplish one. She has brown eyes like me. I hope this helps a little. ;)

They have really cool eyeshadows, etc. designed for specific eye colors. They really do work.
