Makeup - December 2006

I have always had a shiney nose in the morning and I put this skin color powder on it to give a less shine but it always wears off throughout the day. Any other advice?

I really want to have nice smooth blemish free skin. I am a african american and I have some blemishes on my face and I hate it !! I want the skin that just glows and is very smooth almost like beyonce's skin I dont know what she uses or what she exfoliates with but SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

This will sound weird but... I have never used eye liner before.. but how do you put on eyeliner.. like where do you put it on your eyelid, or what? Also how do you put it on to where it is sort of light and not dark and bulky.? Also how do you know what color eye shadow to wear with it.. (the color of the eyeliner is black)

I work on my feet in a somewhat stressful environment, and I wear dark eyeshadow. I need it to last all day.... 12 to 16 hours. Even if I were to wipe it off and reapply it, after awhile my face gets sweaty and greasy and it's impossible to keep my eyeshadow from settling into the crease of my eyelid. I've tried applying it wet, etc., and nothing works. Is there something I can buy to apply before the shadow or whatever that's relatively inexpensive and will guarantee that my eyeshadow will stay in its place?

Does any have any really good remedies for severely chapped lips? I use blistex but it is not really helping and any time I wear lip color my lips just get really chapped as the day wears on.

Okay I'm not like the most cordinated person right and my skills with eyeliner really sucks!! I can't get it on without stabing my eye or getting it to high up or if I get it in the right spot the line is to stinking thick! Then I thin it out with a q-tip and then I don't have anything left...any tips or am I just dumb out of luck...

Do y'all think black eye-liner is too harsh or does it depend on what kind of eye shape you have? I have large almond shaped eyes that are hazel and I have a medium complexion with long, dark brown wavy hair. I never wear a foundation and I only wear concealer if needed, light dusting of powder to cover up shine, a dab of blush and black mascara w/ black eyeliner. I only line the bottom of my eyes on the inner rim. I don't ever wear eyeshadow or lipgloss/lipstick or foundation. Does this seem like too much makeup, too little or just right? I know it depends on the individual, I just wanted to see what others thought.

People tell me my eyes are similar to Penelope Cruz's. Here is a pic of her with black eyeliner, I do my eyes similar to hers without the eyeshadow:

well have dark brown eyes but i would like hazel or gray. But i'm not sure it would go with my skin conplexion which is a light brown. Which color do you think will be best or should i just go clear.

i am a natural blonde well strawberry blonde almost ginger arghhh lol and that means i have blonde eyelashes so i tend to put on mascara but when i do half my eyelashes is blond and half black. How do i stop this and why is it happening?
