i started with foundation to cover my horrible acne scars when I was about 12 or 13. Then when was 15 or 16 mascara and lip gloss. Didn't really start doing more makeup until college.

Good age to start wearing a tiny bit is around 13, maybe mascara and a light lip gloss.

i didn't have an interest in makeup till i was like 16. i would say when she's curious she can experiment, but only wear mascara out of the house if she's under 14

You can start to wear makeup at around 14, but wear it lightly. You want to appear natural even when you're not. It takes years of practice to get it right.

15 or 16 and still in moderation...when you start wearing makeup it messes with the ph of your skin...keep it healthy as long as you can...and remember makeup should only be used to enhance your beauty not to create a mask

I think 17-18, because at younger age you don't want to look too grown up, plus you are not mature to take care of skin properly!!
5th grade is not a good answer!!

to start will be about 16 start with your eye lashes then about 17 eye liner then about 18 go with eye shadows an the base for your face but base really isnt good if u get zits bad leave your skin clean if so.... then just use blush... an then wash your face every day after use

It depends on how much, I think it's allright to start around 12-13 as long as you don't go out looking like a clown..
