Only the ugly ones use a lot of makeup so they can cover up their mug

i think it depends on what they think looks good
some because they make mistakes and need help with it
some love applying more color, changing the features they hate most or to cover up a mole , discoloration, scar, etc.
i think the best make up is the least amount possible to enhance the best features , a bit more for special occasions.
most of the time i don't wear any make up and i'm very much comfortable with it sometimes wear minimal amounts for change. if i thought a lot of make up looked good on me i'd try it for fun or to a party but not too much to change my features , not usually.
what you might consider to be a lot of make up may be considered by some one else as the proper makeup.
i think it's hard to judge at times different ppl have different tastes

For the same reason people can't spell/type... they just can. All kidding aside, the women who wear a poop-ton of makeup have low self esteme and feel that the more makeup they have on the prettier they are, in my opinion.

why not if they like it?
may be some girls know better than other ones how to use the make up, but in spite of that, everyone knows how to resalt the best in their faces.
When i see a well maked up girl, i like it very much, bcoz it means that she cares about her personal aspect.

sometimes to cover blemishes, sometimes to attrack the guys, depends on the girl, some girls don't wear makeup at all

because most of them are trying to hide the acne but they just make it worse. sometimes make-up works if you have a small cut or bruise, but mostly its to cover up blemishes if they use powder and foundation!!!!

IDK.They think they look good with a lot of cheap make up i guess.I know that i wouldn't put that much on.

THE GIRLS WHO PUT ON TONS OF MAKE UP ARE THE ONES WHO ACT LIKE THEIR COOL AND GORGEOUS ............. BUT REALLY THEY ARE TRYING 2 COVER UP SOMETHING!!! To cover that HUGE zit/HUGE pores they THINK they have. I have friends who spends huge amount of time covering something that is barely visible.
