Do y'all think black eye-liner is too harsh or does it depend on what kind of eye shape you have? I have large almond shaped eyes that are hazel and I have a medium complexion with long, dark brown wavy hair. I never wear a foundation and I only wear concealer if needed, light dusting of powder to cover up shine, a dab of blush and black mascara w/ black eyeliner. I only line the bottom of my eyes on the inner rim. I don't ever wear eyeshadow or lipgloss/lipstick or foundation. Does this seem like too much makeup, too little or just right? I know it depends on the individual, I just wanted to see what others thought.

Try dark grey. It's less harsh but still gives definition to your eyes. They're really pretty!

I say YAY for sure. I too have Almond shaped eyes...almost catlike and nothing makes them stand out more than eyeliner. My suggestion would be this....for the eye you will be applying the eyeliner..close it and pull the skin from the corner of your eye (resembling a cat eye) a bit so that the application is smooth and even, apply a thin line right above your top lashes. Then place a nice thin line under the lower lashes starting from the outer corner of the eye but only half way...it gives it a soft yet sultry look. The site you posted with the pic of Penelope Cruz is perfect! But that's if you want it on the more dramatic side (which is my preference). For someone who doesn't prefer to wear makeup...the simplier the better and you'll look just as beautiful. I hope this helps! Good Luck!

Dark brown would probably suit you best. Black eyeliner works best for people who are creating a dramatic effect necessary in films and individuals who have dark skin so you can see it. If you're going for a more natural look and just trying to enhance your natural beauty then black is out of the question. If you want to have a more dramatic look that stands out more but might come off a bit fake - then go for the black.

I think that is fine. It does also depend on the individual, but do what you like and what you think is best. Personally, I never wear any make-up or any eye liner period, because I hate the hassle and the chaos of not being able to itch my eyes when I have an itch, or sratch it because I will screw up my make up and the black eye liner gets smeared.
Go for it! I think using eye liner makes your eyes stand out more! It will look more eye catching and much better!

i think that brown eyes look best with black eyeliner more than any other so its ok but wear a little on the top too to even it out and try a light eyeshadow to make it look the best

YES you should use black eyeliner. Just dont over due it unless you want the drastic diva look. But if you want your eyes to stand out a lil bit then wear a lil bit of black eye liner.

Yay, I don't think it's too much, that's for sure. Tons of people way over do their make up. Black eyeliner usually narrows eyes, but I don't think it would be a problem for your eye shape. Go you!

I like black as long as it is not to thick. You should always see your eyes first, not the make up. Also I wouldn't wear this during the day or to work, seems for like a night out look to me.

yay! black eyeliner can look good on everyone, instantly gives your eyes a smouldering look.
but only ever wear what make-up you feel comfortable with, never worry about weraing too much or too little, just wear what you like =)
