Hair - February 2007

im 26 and have a few grey hairs coming through much to my disgust and horror! i have been using home dye kits but my hair is becoming dry and feels heavy.

What cani do to keep my hair soft and in good condition? i have to colour it as i am not walking around with grey hairs hanging out!!

any ideas?

the other day and was amazed that one of the clients were smoking, there were no windows open and it's a very small salon, it actually started to get foggy in there, i didnt say anything but now wish i had, can anyone tell me if this is allowed?

I have naturally stawberry blonde hair,i have been dying it black for the past 3 years,but im fed up with dying it,as i don't have much time to do it,and my roots are always showing.I have tried to dye my hair lighter but it wont go over the black,i don't want to end up with bright orange hair.I was wondering if anyone had any ideas how i can get my hair back to or near my natural colour?

my hair is above my shoulders, but not too short
i had layers in it, but when i got it cut, i no longer had layers
i dont like that my hair is so plain, so i thought about making my hair a bit choppier with layers
would it be a good idea?
how would it affect my hair length??

I have brown hair with a little bit of highlights thats pretty long(about an inch lower than my shoulder) and layers(I also have bangs to my chin). I don't know what to do with it anymore!

I usually straightnen it or put half of it up.

Leave it naturally curly.

Put the hair in my face in a barette.

Or put it in a bun.

I don't know any other good hairstyles. My hair is starting to thin out and sometimes some of the styles I do don't look that great. Have any ideas?

her hair is getting nappyer and i dont know what to do anymore but braid her hair all the time .but braids make her hair fall off if i pull too much around her forhead and if i dont it look like she has old braids on..i 'm desperate,so i saw this new testurizer for kids at walmart and it look like its gentle and dont really straignten the hair but give nice curl to a coarse hair.i know she is only 2..but my sister in law relaxed her 3 old girl.

I have had my hair highlighted for years now but I have gone to Uni and don't have the time, money and don't know of a good salon nearby so I want to buy an over the counter hair colour.
I have not had it highlighted for about 2 months now and it has 2-3 cm of root. My hair has 3 shades in it, they are, blonde, brown, and a dark caramel colour. I want to go a light brown copper tone (like Mary Kate Olsen) using something like Loreal Experte.
So can I use an over the counter hair dye or must I go to the salon?

first i wanted to wax but i heard it hurts a lot then i decided to use the hair removing cream but people are saying that after a few years the skin will have spots becoz the cream damages the skins and simple shave is not smooth enough. so which one is better plzz ppl help me decide.is there really any side effects of the cream? and if no which brand is better?

For the last couple of years or so I have either bleached my hair or dyed it all black. Now I'm bored of that and I tried to buy some bright colours, pillar box red and orange but I can't find any in Manchester! I can find vivid colours but they are these stupid wash in wash outs, I want a permanent dye. Any ideas which shops will sell them?

I have been using this shampoo for about a week now and my hair seems to be softer, healthier, and more manageable overall. I used it originally because I had heard that it makes your hair grow faster, but I am not sure if this is true or not. It seems to also make my skin softer and healthier. Am I just crazy or can anyone substantiate any of this? Thanks!

Well...
I dunno why but i have so much dandruff on my hair!
And because i scratch they create cuts and bruises on my head!
Do you nkow how i can get rid of my dandruf....
ive tried soo many shappos and hair cream! They dont work At ALL.
