I don't know why anyone would really have a problem with it, if they do say that, they're probably just admiring your hair, because like someone up there said, its a rare hair color and its gorgeous. Don't worry about it at all :D

My name is Ginger, I have never had that problem and don't quite understand your question.
My experience with the name Ginger has aways been just as any other name. I have enjoyed good friends, of course you get the standard Ginger Snap, Ginger Rogers sort of thing. I have always loved my name, been successful, despite some books about names indicating "cutsey names aren't professional". ANyway hoped I answered your question somewhat. By the way are you a Ginger too.
