Peanut Butter Method
If the gum is in a small amount of the hair, just apply peanut butter or all over the area and mix it in until it comes out. Then just take a shower to wash out the peanut butter.
If the gum is spread out, use more peanut butter, or if it is not near your scalp, use ice.
Ice Method
Ice it for about fifteen minutes and it should have hardened enough to just take it off.
Cold Cream Method
Apply cold cream to it. It will disappear quickly.
Vaseline Method
Cover your hair with Vaseline.
Spread the Vaseline around the area of the gum.
Take a wide tooth comb and comb the gum and most of the vaseline out of your hair.

Peanut butter or rubbing alcohol. The Rubbing alcohol breaks down the gum. Either way it's a long process. good luck

Mix peanut butter and vaseline together and rub it in your hair, around where the gum is. Leave it in for 10 minutes. Comb out, then wash it. :)

Peanut butter, yes peanut butter, but it takes awhile and you'll need help, keep combing gently with a wide comb. Ice only works if you can put your head in the freezer. Both of my daughters had long hair.

Hold an icecube to the gum until it makes it hard and then break it apart and get the pieces out.
