Hair - February 2007

Hi everyone, i am an asian from singapore, how do i achieve the european style of hair quality, as in i find it impossible to style my hair like how the europeans or caucasians do... I am a guy and I am sick of having asian style hairdos, any ideas how to style it like the caucasians? thanks for the help..

I hear it makes your hair feel and look healtheir and it gives it volume? I find it kind of hard to believe does anyone know if this really works? Has anyone tried it or do you know what ingredients make this work if it does work?

I've dyed my hair a little much lately, and I need to get my hair back into shape. I am using the new pantene total recovery shampoo and conditioner already and I love it, but it's just not cutting it for me. I've also tried V05! total recovery stuff that you use once. But, that also didn't work too well for me. Someone please help? Thanks ;D

bear with me, this is my first question ever and i feel kind of silly asking it at all.

i used to be able to dye my hair red and it would actually stay that way, but i find that the newer red dyes fade out super fast. i've heard of this happening to other people too, so i'm fairly certain it's not just something to do with my hair.

so, does anyone know why red dyes that are supposed to be permanent have a tendency to wash out or fade quickly?

I have white skin, with a tint of yellow. I have short hair (that im growing out). I have dirty blonde hair right now naturally. I was thinking of some sort of red, but i don't know how it would look on me. (i've never dyed my hair before). any advice on a color... or i've heard something about temporary coloring, know any good brands?

So I am a girl and i shaved my upper lip because i thought it looked bad and my mom didn't know and now it looks worse. My mom has bleached it for me a few times but she just doesn't understand how hard it is for me cuz i feel like every1 notices it. Like when I look in the mirror the first thing i see is my hairy upper lip and i hate it. I hate how nervous i get whenever anyone brings up anything about moustaches or shaving or waxing or anything because im scared someone will say something about it. And even if they don't say anything about it i still feel like they notice it. I feel like im so UGLY. I once brought up the idea of laser and my mom didnt think it was such a great idea. Help me!

I have split ends and my hair is very thick. A little of my hair comes out each day. Its not that noticeable, but I'm to young to be BALD. I stopped using a hair dryer. I wash it every two weeks.

after my hair dries from swimming or anything it's frizzy and thick and hard to deal with. So I always straighten it. My mom says it's not good because then I'm drying it out even more. What should I do? I'm already using a hydration shampoo and conditioner, and I went and got my hair thinned with the thinning shears. Any ideas?
