I hear it makes your hair feel and look healtheir and it gives it volume? I find it kind of hard to believe does anyone know if this really works? Has anyone tried it or do you know what ingredients make this work if it does work?

That and apple cider vinegar.
It will smell and feel stick if you don't wash it out thoroughly.

First put mayo in it, then rinse with apple cider vinegar and then wash out with your best-smelling shampoo.
wash out three times afterwards and then it will shine SO much in the sun people will need sunnies lol.

I believe thats just another hair myth. It may make your hair some what softer but so will most any decent conditioner so why use something that will leave you smelling like a sandwich when you could use something that leaves your hair smelling good! I tried the mayo thing once as well as honey...it was a nightmare and in the end I didn't see a bit if difference. You could just try this yourself and see what happens. lol Hope this helps. =)

mayonaise is manufactured to be eaten.. i would consider trying some proper hair products before you try that. sunsilk has a cool new range out that suits every hair type and it's cheap, just because a product is expensive doesn't mean to say it's the best.. ask your friends what they use, or people you see around if you like their hair condition.... anyway, just imagine the flies you would attract... not a good look!

I don't know about mayo but I do know that olive oil is awesome for hair. It's great for your scalp and really makes your hair shiny and bouncy. Let it soak in for at least an hour or so and then wash and condition your hair in the usual way.
