well, looking at it from your perspective, he's obviously one of your better cooks for you to even consider this.
i don't think you can let that slide though, no matter what fluid it was.
you're a fool for asking this because no one's advise is getting to make you decide either way since you know damn well that you should fire him.
i think you should fire him of course.

Unless you're charging extra for condiments I'd say just fire him.

Besides if the health inspector ever found out they would close you own (so you really don't have a choice in letting him go)

I would fire him and never give a good recommendation for him. What he did could shut your business down if state inspections came in. Good luck

umm...i believe the answer is very clear FIRE HIM!!! you don't know how many other times he has done this before and u dont want to take the chance that he would do it again.
