Ive never cut my hair before. Should I?

Question

I am open to all opinions, I just cant decide if I short get a modern cut or not. Thanks I appreciate your answers. xox :)

My Hair is down past my belly button, and I am not 13 lol im 22.

well, first, girls usually go for the type of hairstyle called a 'bob'. Meaning shoulder length hair. Other styles look good depending on your sense of style. If you yourself is telling you to get a haircut... then get one!!! Trying new styles is allways a great boost of confidence in yourself.

i guess it's best to give your hair some trimming, your hair must be pretty long now if you never cut it before, you should go to a salon and ask them to take a look at your hair and tell you if the best way to go is cutting your hair or trimming it, if your hair has a lot of split ends then you should definitely give it a trim, there are so many great hair cuts these days, get one that would bring out your features best. a really nice hair cut could change the way you look radically. Since you never cut your hair before it must a big decision for you, so talk it through with someone who knows about hair first.

YES! Your hair is a very valuable resource. There are many children who suffer hair loss due to having to indure chemo therapy. Locks of Love is an organization that takes donated hair and makes beautiful wigs for children who desperatly need them. My hair was down to my waist a few years ago, I had 18 inches cut off and donated to Locks of Love; it was one of the best things I have ever done. After all it was just hair to me but a lifesaver to someone else. Good luck with your decision. You will be beautiful either way.

Well the thing is that if you cut your hair shorter then you'll look a lot older, trust me, I used to have long hair, and once I cut it instead of looking twelve when I was really fifteen, I looked my age. You should open yourself up to new experiences and express yourself through your hair. It's no big deal, it'll grow back.

Okay, 3 things. 1) it's only hair, if you don't like it, it'll grow back. 2)I was suprised when I cut off my hair how much better I felt. Having all that hair for so long, I slowly got used to having a head ache, until you just don't notice anymore. 3) Donate your hair. There are orginizations that make wigs for children with Cancer and stuff.

Yes if you let it get too long it could affect your eyes. I knew a girl with hair down to her butt when I was a teen and she had to get it cut for her eyes and her headaches stopped too. Get it cut to go with your face and shock everyone in school. If you don’t like the way it looks it will always grow back.♪

Yes of course. While you're at it do get your hair highlighted. I always like 2 colours. It'll brightens up any face. Dont worry about the colour, just get the hairdressers to recommend them to you.
