It's made for kids. Your two year old is no longer a baby-she's a toddler. Yes, you may use this. I have a second cousin who has been using a similar product in her son's hair since he was less than a year old, because otherwise all he had were nappy knots.

Look, use plenty of Luster's pink oil moisturizer on your daughter's hair to make it soft enough to comb thru. My daughter has 15"-20" long nappy hair. We have not used any chemicals at all on her hair & she is ten now. Just keep the kid's hair moisturized and keep it braided. You do not have to pull too hard to braid her hair. You should be gentle while braiding it while using lots of the pink oil and then her edges will not suffer.

Two years old is way too young to be putting a texturizer on your kid's hair. Most reputable salons will not even texturize it for you cause they know 2 years old is too young.

It always amazes me how many Black moms keep falling for the "her hair is too nappy to comb" line so that they have an excuse to put Drano (and you know that's what relaxers & texurizers really are) on their daughters' heads.

Trust me, the pink oil works & your daughter will get tons of compliments on her long, beautiful, thick hair once you start taking good, but gentle, care of it.

Also, make sure you use a wide tooth comb or afro pick on her hair. The ones with metal teeth are more gentle on nappy hair.
