Yes, but what works better is dividing your hair into four sections and making smaller braids. The smaller the braids, the smaller the wave. You also have to use a little mousse or gel to hold that texture. I suggest using a large barrel curling iron, to get some additional definition by making spirals. You can also use it to get the job done, if you don't want to braid your hair. Just use some mousse and twirl small pieces, then use a strong hair spray to hold the wave.

Like Emily E. said, french braid your hair when its wet and leave the braid or braids in until your hair is dry. When you take the braids out your hair should be wavy. What I would do though is wash your hair before you go to bed, braid or french braid your hair while its wet, and go to sleep with them in.

yeah they do if you do it right... wash your hair at night and put gel and hairspray in it... french braid it in 2 braids and go all the way to the very end of your hair... blow it dry a little to speed up the process and then sleep on it... make sure it is completely dry b4 you take it out and then put some more gel or mouse in it and scrunch it... WARNING: do not brush it... brushing it will make it a big fuzz-ball... then style it however you want and throw some more hairspray in it and call it a day! its really critical that you put gel or something in it while its wet or else there is no hope in the end... try it out a few times b4 you go anywhere with it to make sure its exactly what you want... good luck!

If you have thick hair like me its gonna fall out before the days out no matter what you do. Just put in braids alone and spritz your hair with some hair spray after you take the braids out for a longer hold.

If your hair is wet when you brade it then let it dry in braids. I'm sure it would give a wavy appearnce once you pull the braids out.

Yes, yo'd have to put your hair in braids while its still wet. then when you take it out, the waves should stay. Just to make sure you can add hiar spray or frizz control.

Yes but braid it as far down as you can so you don't have random straight ends. Good luck!
