Hey, that's me! Flat straight hair makes my pumpkin head look even bigger. I think medium length with some layers to free up the waves keeps things looking proportionate. I also prefer light bangs brushed off to the side a bit to no bangs just to break up my forehead.

I have a round, big face and I have always thought that I looked best with longer hair. But I had to cut my hair because it was so damaged and now my hair comes to my chin and I love the length. I just wouldn't go super short with it.

You should try:
Short hairstyles with a swept-back direction
Off-center part
Hairstyles with fullness & height at the crown
BUT AVOID:
Center parts
Really short crops
Straight "chopped" bangs
Fullness at side and bangs

I've recently found the answer 4 me, anyway, :) i had long,beautiful hair, but it made my face look bigger, so i researched- & a short layered cut (see avatar ;) w/ some volume on the top made a major improvement! hope this helps.

Shoulder length with layers. The bangs should be cheekbone length. A side part is best.

I style that crops the face but does not add bulk. Bobs for example, or bobs with bangs. Layered bobs also look great.
