Are you male or female?
For female, i would suggest:

Or if that doesn't work, here:

It does sound more hardcore than regular dandruff. I use head and shoulders and that works well for my dandruff. I have also rubbed olive oil into my scalp when it has been particularly dry and it worked for me. Anyway, you may be allergic to something. Or you could have a condition that needs treating. Whatever it is it sounds painful to be scratching your head so much that it creates cuts and bruises. You should see a doctor.

Dandruff is actually a build up of yeast. I put a little bit of tea tree oil in my shampoo bottle and this helps to control it. You can also rinse with apple cider vinegar. You can purchase the oil at GNC or a health store and get the vinegar at the grocery store. If you resist scratching or peeling your scalp it will heal up quickly. I know this is a hard habit to break , but you can do it! If you are itching , just use your fingertips to scratch and not your nails.

Use head & shoulder shampoo to wash and sulfur8 medicated anti-dandruff hair & scalp conditioner and apply to scalp 1 - 2 times daily.
Good luck.
Wash hair regularly as possible to prevent hitching because dandruff tend to make the scalp tender, therefore causes cuts and bruises when being scratched.

Hi,
Have you tried Polytar shompoo, it really does work. My mother won't use anything else for dandruff and she has tried a few. But if the dandruff still does'nt go away then you should go to your doctor and ask thier advice. Hope this helps.

You probably have psorosis of the scalp. Don't worry a lot of people have this! Go buy Neutragena T-Sal Shampoo, in about 2 weeks it will start to go away. Look on the ingredients, one of them has tar coal in it, I wouldn't use that if you dye your hair blonde b/c it could stain it but the T-Sal one won't. This works promise!
